I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space for neurodivergent individuals to explore themselves because I understand the unique challenges we face – how institutional barriers in the societal, cultural, and systemic realms compound these challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and validation: I want to ensure you feel truly seen and understood.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I invite art as a supportive communication tool for those who might find words limiting or conventional conversations difficult. Art is a way for us to explore your raw thoughts and emotions authentically.
My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, embrace your neurodivergence, and navigate the complexities of a world that is at times, frankly, unaccommodating. By normalizing your experiences and providing tailored coping strategies I aim to empower you to thrive. My work supports those in managing focus, processing information differently, and addressing the emotional impacts of trauma and systemic inequities.
As a trauma-informed counsellor I prioritize creating a safe environment for your personal growth. I understand the importance of moving slowly and respecting your sense of agency. When the world feels like it’s operating on urgency, let our sessions be a place where you set the pace.
