Life is complex. When it’s confusing on top of that we can feel lost, isolated, or forgotten in this world. In these moments it’s difficult to reach out or find help, especially if we have been let down or disappointed in the past – an experience that I relate to. As a neurodivergent, queer, and racialized counsellor, I am grateful to find myself supporting individuals and communities with shared identities and intersections. I strive to foster therapeutic spaces that are client-focused, collaborative, and compassionate. From a foundation of safety and trust, let’s explore what is important to you. Read more…

Whether I am holding space for an adult, child, or teen, I aim to understand you and your unique experience of the world – what’s working, and what feels stuck! Let’s make sense of your experiences, create safety around the thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations that get in the way, and find ways to move toward what really matters to you. Therapy with me is about identifying and connecting with your values in order to commit to meaningful change. This might look like reflective conversation, creative expression through art making, or mindfulness-based exploration with adults and teens, or expressive art and play therapy when working with children. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, embrace your neurodivergence, and navigate the complexities of a world that is at times, frankly, unaccommodating. By normalizing your experiences and providing tailored coping strategies I aim to empower you to thrive. My work supports those in managing focus, processing information differently, and addressing the emotional impacts of trauma and systemic inequities. Read More…

Diving under the surface is one of the bravest things you can do. Sometimes you sit down to deal with a problem and have no idea where to start. You might feel stuck, disconnected, or maybe you are simply seeking guidance while you wade through something difficult. That’s where I come in. I strive to create an environment where you aren’t mean to yourself. I want to inspire conversations that are grounded in self-acceptance so that you can gain awareness and develop new perspectives.
I tend to work well with what I call “fast brained” people. That’s probably because I’m neurodivergent, just like many of my clients. My queer identity has taught me that while some labels are given to us, others are discovered. I would love to sit down with you and not only help you feel seen, but help you see yourself for who you are.
My background of art and play therapy is invited into session at the client’s request. These alternate modalities can provide insight and supplement communication when speaking is difficult.

I am here tinkering on the back end! I support Sunward Journeys by connecting us to like-minded communities, keeping this website fabulous. When I’m not a-tinkering, you can find me hiking in the mountains or chilling with my bird, Goku.
