Jasper Hanlon

Clinical Counsellor Intern
they/them

I am proudly queer and neurodivergent. These identities are gifts to me as a intern therapist: they’ve given me patience, empathy, and compassion for those who feel lost not only in their brain but in this overwhelming neurotypical world. I want to support those who know what it’s like to be a minority in the room, whether that person is a trauma survivor, neuodivergent, queer, or BIPOC to name a few. I aim to collaboratively create a space where you can feel understood and safe enough to explore the various parts of you that you might not grasp as intimately as you’d like just yet.

Since authenticity and transparency are important to me, I want you to know that I am a student therapist completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy at Adler University. In this role my goal is to be a grounding presence that might remind you of your strengths as we work toward building a more fulfilling life for yourself. I look forward to connecting with you and witnessing the beautiful things we create.
