I start with compassion taken from my lived experience of having ADHD because feeling understood and respected in therapy is the beginning of meaningful work. I understand the challenges that come with overwhelming experiences, anxiety, anger, intrusive thoughts, and the pressure of meeting society’s expectations.
You might say I’m a lifelong learner: I hold two master’s degrees in psychology and continued on with additional education in trauma-informed approaches (Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing), couples therapy (EFT, Gottman Method), attachment theory, CBT, and DBT. My extensive clinical experience and broad training allow me to see the big picture, supporting neurodivergent individuals and couples in noticing routines and patterns they might have missed in themselves but can glean from in therapy.
My approach focuses on building practical skills, emotional regulation techniques, and nervous system support through accessible strategies informed by neuroscience. I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent people (like me!) in understanding the unique ways they experience the world, whether they are currently dealing with challenges related to attention or mental overload levels. Together we can develop skills to create more balance, clarity, and resilient confidence in your life and relationships.
